In 2016 DeJong & Lebet began assisting the New Orleans Steamboat Company to convert their newest Paddlewheel vessel. 

Originally the Casino Rock Island, the vessel had all of the gaming equipment removed. The owners then replaced the interior saving a few existing pieces of beautiful wood and stained glass from her original interior.

DeJong & Lebet assisted the owner by providing drawings for the new vessel including overhaul of the electrical drawings, new piping, and structural modifications. 

In addition D&L designed new smokestacks and a third deck covered seating area.
