Liquid Vegas
230ft Ferry Conversion
Originally built in Spain as a vehicle / passenger ferry for the Mediteranian, DeJong and Lebet was involved in the initial conversion of this 230 foot vessel to casino service in 1995. This conversion included the addition of large sponsons to the hull and changing the vehicle deck to casino space. In 2007 the vessel had gone out of certification when it came under new ownership. Throughout 2008 we worked with the owners to get the vessel classed under RINA (Registro Italiano Navale), an Italian society. This involved extensive stability work, electrical updates, structural fire protection and other things. By the end of 2008 the vessel was operating out of Port Canaveral as an 800 passenger casino vessel.
